Hawkes Bay Summer School 2012 - 5th Apr 2011

To all teachers, dancers, parents and supporters:

Hawkes Bay Teachers and Judges are very keen to conduct a Hastings Summer School again in January 2012, after a break of 4 years and we would like expressions of interest in possible or probable attendance.

Why come to Hastings?

Dancers get the benefit of smaller sized classes in both dance and exam classes. You can work Summer School around a family holiday and there is plenty to do in the sun- soaked beautiful Hawkes Bay for all family members. We are located centrally and within an easy 2 – 4 hour drive of most North Island centres.

If your dancer has not had the pleasure of attending a Summer School, why not make Hastings their first one, we know they will love it and if you have attended before, we would welcome you back again.

We would like to offer to billet dancers from out of town.

Exam winter school 2011

Christchurch Earthquake - 23rd Feb 2011

I am sure you will all join with me to share our thoughts and prayers to our Christchurch members, their families, friends and colleagues which have been affected by yesterday’s tragic event. For those of us not in Christchurch, we cannot imagine what you are going through and what we see on television is numbing. If any of you know of members that need our support, please let Raewyn know in the first instance, and she will pass it on to us. Try and be a little comforted to know that your dancing friends are thinking of you all during this terrible time.
