Academy Technical training course
The next ATTC course covering the Highland syllabuses will be held in Palmerston North on the weekend of 13/14 August.
To attend the full 2 days the cost will be $250
To attend either day the cost will be $150
Grade 1 - Grade 4 will be covered on the Saturday and Grade 5 - Advanced will be covered on the Sunday.

Executive wish to advise the closing date for nominations for our Youth Representative Role has been extended to Monday 11th July 2022 at 5pm. Nominations can only be accepted using the official Nomination Form which can be found on the website – they can be posted to NZAHND, P O Box 5470, Palmerston North or emailed to admin@nzahnd.org.nz.

Saturday March 5th at the Aurora Centre, Burnside High School, Christchurch, commencing at 6 p.m.
Limited tickets are now available, Adults $25, Children $10

Solo Seal 2022
Solo Seal 2022, will be held in Christchurch on Saturday 05th March at the Auroroa Centre, Burnside High School commencing at 6 p.m.

Te Anau Festival Easter 2022 - Heart of the Highland Show
A revised version of the highly successful Highland Dance Company of NZ show “Heart of the Highlands” will be staged in Te Anau in conjunction with the Te Anau Tartan Festival at Easter 2022. The production is a spectacle of Highland dance, music and song telling the story of the history of our five Highland dances.
The Highland Dance Company of New Zealand invite highland dancers interested in being a part of this production to apply to join the cast of “Heart of the Highlands”. There are limited spaces and priority will be given to dancers from the Southland district if numbers exceed the spaces available.

Celebration of our Patron Beckie Rout's 90th bithday
Celebrating a special milestone birthday. Our Academy Patron, Past President and Life Member Mrs Beckie Rout celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends in Dunedin. Joining Beckie to celebrate was Mrs Annetta Cowie, Immediate Past President and Life Member along with our current President Mrs Jackie McBride.
