Highland Dance Company of NZ - Auckland Region Performance
Dancers in The Highland Dance Company of New Zealand Auckland Region have recently performed the choreographed traditional item "NZ Dancing Feet" at two events and the response has been great.
The first performance was as guest dancers at the Waitakere City Performing Arts Society 2011 Dance Showcase on Sunday 12th June. Bronwyn Jensen (Vice President of PACANZ and Northern North Island
Representative) comments after the performance were "I thought your item was just stunning and so contemporary. It was great to have a guest item that was still dance, but very different from anything else we had
on show". The second performance was at the Auckland and District Pipe Band Ceilidh in Mt Eden on Saturday 25th June. The next invitation is for the Auckland Region to perform at the Remuera Business
Association's Scottish Festival on 1st October.
